What is LEAP for Education’s Role?

LEAP for Education, Inc. is working with the Salem Public Schools to act as Program Coordinator for the 21st Century Community Learning Center at the Nathaniel Bowditch School. As Program Coordinator, LEAP works with the site supervisor to assure that all the grant requirements are being met and that the academic quality, enrollment, attendance and assessments meet the high standards of the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

In addition to Expanding Horizons, LEAP staff provides program coordination for other 21cclc programs including Horace Mann Learning Lab at the Horace Mann Lab Elementary School in Salem (grades 3-5), and Gloucester’s O’Maley Academy and Gloucester U.

Our programs are funded in part by the City of Salem Department of Planning & Community Development, US Department of Housing & Urban Development, and the City of Peabody Department of Community Development and Planning.
