Our Impact
LEAP for Education is the first North Shore organization of its kind to empower first-generation-to-college and underserved youth to graduate from college and succeed in education and life regardless of ethnicity or gender. We deliver a portfolio of innovative, academic, life skills, career and college success programs for middle school, high school and college students creating a lasting impact in our youth, their families and communities.

Serving over 400 students in Lynn, Salem, Peabody and Gloucester. |

30 immigrant youth practice English, accounting for over 1200 hours of instruction. |

Over 100 students in grades 6 – 10 participate each year in academic, career and college exploration activities and/or receive college admissions services. |

Over 60 students in grades 11 – 12 participate each year in career and college exploration activities. Another 62 students receive college advising services after they are enrolled in college. |

56 students completed a virtual summer internship building important career skills. |

Over 150 parents per year attend Family Seminars for college and financial aid information. |

The LEAP staff are not only my greatest support system, but also part of my family. I came to LEAP in middle school and now that I have graduated from college, I hope to be able to pay it forward by helping make an impact in someone else’s life.
