LEAP for Education is the first North Shore organization of its kind to empower first-generation-to-college and underserved youth to graduate from college and succeed in education and life regardless of ethnicity or gender. We deliver a portfolio of innovative, academic, life skills, career and college success programs for middle school, high school and college students creating a lasting impact in our youth, their families and communities.
|Serving over 500 students in Salem, Peabody and Gloucester.|
|30 immigrant youth practice English, accounting for over 1200 hours of instruction.|
|85 students in grades 8 – 10 participate each year in academic, career and college exploration activities and/or receive college admissions services.|
|Over 75 students in grades 11 – 12 participate each year in career and college exploration activities and over 70 receive college advising services after they are enrolled in college.|
|Over 275 students participate in skill-enriching activities each year.|
|Over 150 parents per year attend Family Seminars for college and financial aid information.|
