Our Impact

LEAP for Education is the first North Shore organization of its kind to empower first-generation-to-college and under-served youth to succeed in college, career, and life. We deliver a portfolio of innovative, academic, career and college success programs for middle school, high school and college students.

HIGH SCHOOL SUCCESS

100% of students enrolled in College Success programs graduate high school and enroll in college.

COLLEGE PERSISTENCE

87% of students enrolled in College Success graduated from college or have successfully entered their junior year in college.

FUNDING FOR COLLEGE

100% of our students complete their financial aid forms and over 90% receive grants and scholarships.

ENROLLMENT

Serving over 800 students in Salem, Peabody and Gloucester.
30 immigrant youth practice English, accounting for over 1200 hours of instruction.
85 students in grades 8 – 10 participate each year in career and college exploration activities and/or receive college advising services.

130 students in grades 11 – 16 participate each year in career and college exploration activities and/or receive college advising services.
Over 275 students participate in skill-enriching activities each year.
Over 150 parents per year attend Family Workshops for college and financial aid information.
